11/29/2008 - (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The powerful San Jose Sharks will try to match their longest winning streak of the season when they visit the Phoenix Coyotes for a Pacific Division battle tonight at Jobing.com Arena.
The Sharks have won six straight contests, giving the club its longest hot streak since rattling off seven in a row from October 25 to November 8. San Jose leads the NHL with 39 points and currently holds a 10-point edge over Anaheim for first place in the Pacific.
San Jose played Friday evening in Dallas and steamrolled the Stars, 6-2. Dan Boyle scored twice and Ryane Clowe recorded three assists to lift the Sharks to the blowout win at American Airlines Center.

Patrick Marleau added a helper and, like Setoguchi and Thornton, is riding a seven-game point streak. Setoguchi has five goals and eight assists; Thornton has posted four goals and nine assists; and Marleau has four goals and six assists over his run.
The Sharks improved to 7-3-0 as the visiting team on the season and are wrapping up a brief two-game road trip tonight. San Jose will begin a four- game homestand its next time out when the Toronto Maple Leafs visit Silicon Valley on Tuesday.
The Coyotes, meanwhile, have won two straight following a season-high six-game losing streak and are coming off Friday's close victory over visiting Colorado.
Mikael Tellqvist made 37 saves to help lead Phoenix to a 2-1 decision over the Avalanche at Jobing.com Arena. It was the second straight one-goal victory for the Coyotes, who posted a 3-2 win in Columbus on Wednesday.
Derek Morris and Kevin Porter each scored a goal for the Coyotes, who opened a four-game homestand with Friday's win.
Phoenix is 6-3-1 as the host this season and will also welcome Los Angeles and Toronto before the next time it heads out on the road.
The Coyotes defeated the visiting Sharks, 4-2, in the first of six meetings between the clubs back on November 9. Phoenix has won four of its last five encounters with the Sharks and San Jose has dropped three straight in the desert.
