11/29/2008 - Singapore (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Katherine Hull and Nikki Campbell held on for a 1-up win for the International team in the final match Saturday to keep the International and Asian teams tied, 6-6, after two days of the Lexus Cup.
Suzann Pettersen and Annika Sorenstam, the International team captain, rallied from a 2-down deficit to secure a 1-up win over Eun-Hee Ji and Inbee Park in the first match.
Cristie Kerr and Helen Alfredsson combined to birdie the final four holes Saturday to collect a 2-up win over Asian captain Se Ri Pak and Seon Hwa Lee.
"Our team did well today," said Pak. "A tough match in every group. Results- wise, I'm happy and look forward to Sunday."
The Asian squad claimed the next three matches. Jeong Jang birdied the final two holes as she and Na Yeon Choi fought off Paula Creamer and Nicole Castrale, 1-up.
Sarah Lee and Song Hee Kim cruised to a 4 & 2 win over Christina Kim and Karen Stupples.
Candie Kung and Mayumi Shimomura rolled to a 4 & 3 victory over Natalie Gulbis and Angela Stanford.
Saturday's action was fourballs or better-ball partners.
Ji and Pettersen traded birdies on the first two holes, Ji birdied the fourth and Pettersen the sixth to keep the match all-square. The Asians birdied the eighth before Ji gave Asia a 2-up lead with a birdie on nine.
Pettersen ran off four straight birdies from the 10th to even the match. Ji birdied the 14th and Pettersen again answered with a birdie at 15. Pettersen birdied No. 17 to answer Park's birdie at 16 to send the match to 18 all square.
Sorenstam, who will play one more event before stepping away from the game, chipped in for eagle at the last to secure the win for the International team. It was the only eagle of the day for either team.
"The timing was perfect. Suzann played extraordinarily well," said Sorenstam of her chip in. "I was happy to have a chance to help on the last hole."
Kerr and Alfredsson were both just even-par through nine holes, but led 2-up. The Asian pair squared the match when Seon Hwa Lee birdied the 12th. However, Alfredsson birdied 16 and 18 to secure the 2-up victory.
Creamer and Castrale led for seven of the first nine holes, but never led again after Jang birdied the 10th to square the match. Jang and Choi closed with a pair of birdies to win 1-up.
Stupples birdied the first, but Sarah Lee and Song Hee Kim won five straight holes from the third to go 4-up. Stupples twice got the International pair within 2-down, but Kim birdied 15 and Lee birdied 16 to close out the match.
Kung and Shimomura never trailed. They collected four birdies on the front side and sealed the deal with birdies 13 and 14.
"I played great today. I hit some really, really close ones. Pretty much tap- ins," Kung said. "They hit some close shots too."
The final match was all-square through 12 holes. Campbell birdied the 13th to grab a 1-up lead. She matched Tseng's birdie on 14 to keep the International's 1-up. The teams both birdied the last as the Internationals squared the overall match at 6-6.

MySportsbook.com favors Bears, Bengals, Chargers and Colts to remain perfect
LAS VEGAS , Sept. 28 - Two big match-ups of undefeated teams have fans salivating at the Week Four schedule in the NFL. The Chicago Bears stifling defense looks to provide a less than hospitable welcome to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night in a battle of two 3-0 teams in the NFC conference. In the AFC, the San Diego Chargers (2-0) head to Maryland to face the surprising Baltimore Ravens (3-0) as both try to keep pace atop the conference standings. Betting Lines makers at MySportsbook.com, online sportsbook and casino, have set the Bears as 3.5 point favorites while the Chargers are a 2.5 point bet.
Of the three remaining undefeated teams, only one, New Orleans, enters this week's game as an underdog. Despite an emotional and resounding win over Atlanta on Monday night, the Saints are a 7.5 point underdog against the struggling Carolina Panthers. Indianapolis looks to stay perfect when they face the New York Jets as a 9 point road favorite while the Cincinnati Bengals are a 6 point favorite at home to the New England Patriots.
Six teams enter the week still looking for their first win, with a seventh, Tampa Bay, on a bye week. The prospect of dropping another game would not bode well for a potential playoff run. Since 1990, just three teams -- the 1992 Chargers, 1995 Detroit Lions and 1998 Buffalo Bills -- have overcome losing their first three games of the season to earn a postseason berth. And only the Chargers managed to accomplish the feat after starting 0-4.
